Your last letter came duly to hand & found us as it left you all in a very comfortable state of health

We of course were glad to hear from you once more, indeed as always are glad to hear from you one & all – you write that all are at home – please say to William that I should be pleased to have him write to me whenever he feels like it, as also Frances they both owe me one I think, and if my namesake or Candace will write I will answer
