Your letter of the 18th came duly to hand and the contents have been noted We are at all times glad to hear from you and yours, and it makes us further glad to hear that you all do enjoy so good a degree of health I have not heard from Friend since I last wrote you except by you, I am glad to hear that he likes the West & the West likes him
